Nuria is a professional dancer, Capoeira Mestra, Certified Rolfer®, movement educator, and co-founder of the Field Center in southern Vermont. With over 25 years of experience in various therapeutic, martial, and artistic disciplines, she teaches across the US and internationally. We are seeking a professional assistant — ideally one who is interested in these fields — who possesses strong technical, creative, communicative, logistical, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel Booking and Logistics: Book flights and manage travel itineraries.
  • Digital & Communications Strategy: Develop a sustainable content strategy for the website, newsletter, and social media. Maintain a consistent graphic identity.
  • Website & Newsletter Management: Update content and iteratively enhance the design of the website and newsletter on the Ghost platform. Edit and proofread newsletters.
  • Social Media Management: Edit, format, and post photos, videos, and writing to social media.
  • Teaching & Practice Administration: Manage booking calendar availability and provide administrative support for workshops and classes.
  • Strategic Planning and Project Management: Collaborate on strategic plans and act as project manager to fulfill them.
  • Operational Improvement: Clarify and improve standard operating procedures, enhance workflows, and stay updated on digital tools and best practices.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Support with various personal and professional tasks of the sort an executive assistant would perform.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

  • Tech-savvy, able to use and learn a variety of digital tools, including working with AI software to improve workflows.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS, domain management).
  • Proficient with photo editing and graphic design software.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Creative Abilities:

  • Good aesthetic sense and experience maintaining a consistent graphic identity.
  • Skilled in editing and formatting media for digital platforms.

Organizational and Project Management Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementing effective plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Interest and Experience in Related Fields:

  • Background or interest in the arts, movement practices, or related fields.

Adaptability and Learning:

  • Commitment to continuous learning and quick to adapt and troubleshoot.

Autonomous and Detail-Oriented Work Ethic:

  • Comfortable working independently from voice notes and phone/video calls.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and addressing needs.

Geographical and Time Zone Considerations:

  • Ideally located in the Americas for time zone alignment; primarily asynchronous work.

Compensation
