About Me

I'm Nuria Bowart, a professional dancer, Capoeira teacher, Rolfer®, movement educator, and co-founder of the Field Center in southern Vermont where I am currently based. I teach and travel across the US and internationally. I'm looking for a skilled assistant to help manage multiple aspects of my work projects and personal logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Travel and Logistics Management: Book flights and handle travel logistics for professional and personal trips.

Digital Strategy & Communications: Develop and implement a sustainable content strategy for my website, newsletter, and social media, maintaining a consistent graphic identity.

Website & Newsletter: Update content and iteratively enhance the design of my website and newsletter on the Ghost platform. Edit and proofread newsletters.

Social Media: Edit, format, and post photos, videos, and written content to social media platforms.

Teaching & Practice Administration: Manage my booking calendar and provide administrative support for workshops and classes.

Strategic Planning and Delegation: Collaborate on strategic plans and act as project manager to bring them to fruition, know when and how to hire/delegate for tasks that someone else could do more effectively/efficiently.

Operational Improvement: Streamline "standard operating procedures," enhance workflows, and stay updated on digital tools and best practices.

General Support: Assist with various personal and professional tasks typical of both an executive and personal assistant role.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Technical Proficiency: Must be tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and use various digital tools, including AI software for workflow optimization. Basic understanding of web technologies required (e.g., familiarity with HTML/CSS concepts, but coding skills not necessary).

Writing and Communication: Excellent writing/editing skills, strong empathy verbal communication abilities.

Creativity and Aesthetic Sense: Good taste and eye for design. Skilled in editing and formatting media for digital platforms, ideally proficient in photo editing and graphic design software.

Organization & Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience in strategic planning and effective implementation of project plans. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Independence and Adaptability: Comfortable working independently from voice notes and phone/video calls. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and addressing needs.

Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on relevant industry trends and best practices.

Compatibility

Location: Ideally based in the Americas for time zone alignment; expect primarily asynchronous work with weekly meetings.

Technology: Must use Apple devices/platforms to facilitate ease of communication/collaboration, as this is what Nuria uses.

Compensation and Benefits
