The hOme Project

This year I have initiated the hOme project. This is a creative project involving the following wonderful artists:  Kerwin Barrington, Kristen Rulifson, Asha Passalacqua, Lalaina Ravelojaona, Summer Minerva and Myself (Nuria Bowart). Mathew Williams will help with creative direction, Chani Bockwinkel with filming and editing.  This international cast is working together in residency and alone in their various places of residence. Together we are exploring the subject of home as it lives in each of our bodies and minds. Home as location, object, people and feeling. The project involves film creation and live performances. It will be a two year commitment to inquiry and art making. I am honored to work with these artists and very excited to learn from each of them as they explore and express what home is for them.
